We are reaching out to our family, friends, and community with heavy hearts as our beloved horse, Powderbark Orlaith, has recently fallen very ill and needs our help. Two months ago, Orlaith showed signs of developing laminitis, and due to complications, she has not recovered as we had hoped. She is now battling severe laminitis along with other health issues.

Orlaith is not just a horse, but a cherished member of our family and our daughter Sophie’s heart horse. Their bond is something truly extraordinary and anyone who knows Orlaith, knows just how special she is.

We are doing everything we can for Orlaith while she is still willing to fight, but the costs associated with Orlaith’s care - vet visits, specialist treatment, x-rays, and medications - have quickly added up. Although we have already covered a large amount of fees over the last 8 weeks, they continue to grow, and unfortunately, these expenses are beyond what we can manage on our own.
