Clean Up Hobart Campaign

Hi, everybody! Our names are Sophie and Lisette and we are two young women who are passionate about helping people, forging connections and looking after the environment. After rigorous applications and interviews, we have been selected as delegates to participate in the United Nations Youth 2019 programs to Asia and Europe respectively. These programs will look into the history of Europe or Asia respectively and will be focusing on the evolution of diplomacy, and its relevance to the modern day. We will be meeting with many influential people and gain much knowledge about Australia’s role in the international community. We believe that the experiences we will have during the course of these programs will help us to become global citizens and enact positive change within our community and around the country.

As you may know, UN Youth Australia is a non-profit organisation and does not cover the costs of the program for each delegate. Instead of just putting out our hands for donations, we would like you to sponsor our Clean Up Hobart Campaign. From now until we leave in January, we will be picking up litter in our community for at least an hour every week; we hope to pick up thousands of pieces of litter!

If you have a place in Hobart you'd like cleaned up, leave us a comment!
