Sophie shall go to the PROM

My name is Irene Guild and I am writing to you to ask if you can help with a very special little girl who sadly could not have a Prom.
The reason for this is Sophie who is 11 years & 5 months old was the only child in her year at a special needs school in Edinburgh.
Sophie was born with Hydrocephalus along with having had a Brain Hemorrhage whilst still in the womb which left her paralyzed down her left side, She also suffers from Moebius Syndrome Leaving her with facial paralysis. Sophie also needs to use a special walker to get around with help from others. She can see shadows but to what extent this has never been determined by those in charge of her care, SOPHIE NEEDS 24/7 CARE
Now the reason I am writing to you is Sophie would just love to have a "NORMAL" Prom experience, Her mother who is now a single parent, luckily carried Sophie longer than her other 2 siblings Diamond-Rose and little Rainbow who were both born asleep.
Caroline never asks for any help with Sophie from any organisations or other sources although I have asked her to apply.
Can anyone out there help in donate to helping us arrange a Prom for a princess by inviting the local children in her community and also those from her school who are not yet old enough for a prom to make SOPHIES Prom a special day for Sophie.
We are hoping to put on a horse drawn carriage to take her to her local community center,
We are also hoping to get someone to DJ Darren Glasgow Is working on this Possibly doing it himself at the local community center on the 17th of August for 3 hours. ( Long enough for Sophie.)
I am hoping to be able to purchase food item,s sweets and juice. Sadly Sophie herself can only nibble light things as she is fed through a tube into her tummy. But being able to experience a Prom is not a lot for a little girl to ask.
I hope with help from organisations and or local shops etc I along with her mother will be able to make this dream come true.
I asked Sophie where should would like to go on a family day out, Her reply without even thinking was Blackpool. So if their is any money left over I would love to organise this when the illuminations are on for Sophie her mum Caroline Her little brother Adam who`s needs sometimes get forgotten and Sophie`s Nana Roseanne.
We are just waiting to hear if this can go ahead before her school goes back and are looking at Saturday the 17th of August.
Sophie never complains but brings a ray of sunshine When she is not stealing your keys, She LOVES KEYS.
