Sophie Needs Your Help for Vet Bills

Donation protected
Hello my name is Sandra and I’m currently trying to help Sophie and orange rare female cat who was left behind by its previous owner. She has always been an outside cat who I have been feeding for the past few months. She is the sweetest cat she is people friendly and a few days ago I noticed she looked sick and decided to bring her to my home to keep her out of the cold and seek help to take her to a vet. I made a post on social media to try to get help from a rescue but unfortunately everybody is full at the moment I still have not lost hope she will soon find one and find her forever home. This past Saturday I was able to take her to Amazing small animal practice to have her seen by a vet and per the owner of that establishment Sophie is way to skinny and noticed that her gums are very swollen and she thinks she needs her back teeth extracted but recommended to get blood work and X-rays done so we can know what we are dealing with. The owner was kind enough to give her a 2 week antibiotic and some flea medication and she seems better. She still needs to get blood work and x rays but unfortunately finances are very tight for me and I’m seeking help to be able to get Sophie seen by a different vet.

update: Sophie has been seen by a different vet who was able to do blood work her results show a very high number for infection and inflammation per vet he feels comfortable in sedating her to perform a dental cleaning and removing teeth unfortunately I’m not able to pay at this time and I’m asking for any donations to be able to get Sophie the procedure she needs and getting her healthy again! Thank you!

Update: As of now Sophie was seen by a different vet who was able to remove all her upper back teeth and bottom back teeth. This has help her alot specially in gaining weight as when I first got her she was skin and bones. It has been closed to two months that she has been recuperating but I believe she would benefit in removing remainder teeth that are left as she still has some inflammation and the best course of action with stomatitis is to
have them all removed.
