Hi, my name is Matthew and I’m trying to raise money to convert our garage into a living space for my daughter; Sophie Bowles. Sophie is 23 and has been working in her dream job as a highway maintenance operative driving HGVs for the last 4 years. Unfortunately on July 13th as she was working on the roads, she was run over, crushed into a chipper and dragged 5 meters. The accident has caused life changing injuries, her pelvis was broken into 9 pieces, her hip cup joints were both broken, her hip ball joint was smashed and her femur broken. Sophie has undergone 3 major surgeries and will require years of rehabilitation. We need to convert our garage so she can have a wet room and living space all in one to ensure she retains as much independence as possible. Sophie is an extremely hard working woman and has helped so many people in her life. Any help is much appreciated.
