Hi I’m Sophia and I’m going with a group to South Africa near Lesotho. We are going to be doing volunteer work at a Christian school on a farm.
Here are a few ways we will be supporting the community:
- Helping the kids in their learning
- Running fun activities for them
- Maintenance, painting, food prep
- Helping women to loom wool blankets so they can make money
- Spreading the love and joy of Jesus to the people we meet along the way!
You can choose if you’d like your donation to go toward:
- Buying items to bring over > such as board games, puzzles, activities, textas/markers are incredibly expensive over there
- The school > maintenance, teachers pay slips, kids uniforms, nutritious food
- Supporting my travel funds > I’ve invested $3000 to go on this trip
