Hi I'm Sophia's mom.

Sophia has always carried herself with a quiet determination to succeed at everything she does.

Now that she has graduated University she has her eyes set on representing Canada for beach at the highest level internationally...the Olympics.

Having already represented Ontario and Canada multiple times in the sand she is transitioning to making it her full-time career on the road to Los Angeles 2028.

Upcoming international competitions include Brazil and China and we will post updates here and on social media.

This journey, for any Canadian athlete, comes at a huge personal expense. While training full-time, the reality is that most athletes need to supplement any funding they receive by working additional jobs.

Beach Volleyball offloads most costs associated with international competitions (the path to Olympic qualification) to the athlete, meaning travel and accomodations are out of pocket for Sophia in additional to regular living expenses.

She has prepared a sponsorship package for businesses who may be interested in supporting her, but we also know how much support she has had along the way from family, friends and the volleyball community at large so we are asking for your support again.

Any amount helps and goes directly to Sophia's flights and accomodation costs.
