Hi, my name is Silv and I have started a Gofundme for my furbaby Sophia's medical costs.

I rescued Sophia less than 2 years ago, she was 4 years old...This poor baby was in a terrible state when I found her, she was matted, oily, smelly and her teeth had never been brushed, she had a thick layer of discharge under both eyes that had been there for months, when I wiped it away the skin underneath was raw and oozing blood and pus, I had to continously wipe her eyes with warm salty water to stop it from getting infected, she was in so much discomfort, this little angel had been a victim of abuse and neglect.

She has recently been showing signs that were very concerning, like severe heavy breathing/panting even when resting, she has had 2 very bad convulsions, so severe that they shook me awake and when she came to, she was confused and disoriented, choking spasms constantly whilst walking, playing even whilst doing nothing but watching tv with me and a few times just after drinking water, she is lethargic and has complete loss of appetite, i am hand feeding her in order to get any food into her belly...

We had a vet visit yesterday, and was told that they need to conduct countless tests asap to find out what is going on, they need to check her heart for heart disease as they found a slight murmer, her trachea for any blockages, they need to x- ray her gums as she has stage 3 gum disease, they may need to extract teeth that are too far gone to save and she also has patella luxation in both her back legs that will require surgery eventually...To get answers they will need to do X-Rays, CT Scans and bloods all under sedation and the cost is crazy insane.

My poor baby has been through so much in her short life, she has been a blessing in my life, I not only rescued her but she rescued me, from the loneliness I felt, I want to give her the life she deserves by getting her the help she needs but I can't do it without your help...
