Who this will help
Hello! My name is Kiana, and I’m fundraising for my amazing friends Jeremy and Rui, whose infant daughter, Sophia, was recently diagnosed with infant Leukemia (b-cell acute lymphoblastic Leukemia or ALL).
Why I'm fundraising
On December 16th 2023, Sophia was admitted to the oncology unit at Alberta Children’s Hospital. What we all thought was just a scratch in her eye turned out to lead to the most devastating diagnosis we could all imagine - cancer. As Sophia battles her diagnosis and her parents are at her side 24/7, donations will go a long way to helping relieve financial pressures on their family as all the new accessible clothing and equipment Sophia will need.
The impact of your support
Every donation will help relieve some of the immense stress Rui and Jeremy are currently under. If there are any remaining funds after Sophia’s battle they will be donated to infant Leukemia research.
