Hello.
My name is Eleanor Salas and I am fundraising on behalf of my closest friend Angie Navarrete and her daughter Sophia Loera. Sophia is a bright, caring and loving 14 year old girl. She was diagnosed with Rhabdomyasarcoma (RMS). RMS is a rare type of cancer that forms in the soft tissue. She has started chemotherapy and will be doing radiation therapy as well. Her treatments will last until September 2021. Angie drives every week to San Diego Children's hospital for these treatments. Insurance did not cover all of the costs for Sophia's treatment. Not to mention the extra expenses for travel and to support her 3 other children. Angie has exhausted all of her paid time off/vacation from work. I am asking for any help that you can give her and her family at this time.
