Sophia Rose Cancer Fund

On March 19th of, 2022, my sister, Sophia Rose Peterson, received emergency surgery to partially remove a tumor from her T3 vertebra to relieve pressure from her spinal cord. In the following days, doctors found that a metastatic, or stage IV, cancer that originated as adenocarcinoma in her colon and had spread to her liver and multiple sites of her skeletal system. She has since started both chemotherapy and radiation treatments. In addition to those, she has also received a blood transfusion due to complications arising from the chemotherapy treatments. This fund was created to assist her and my family in covering the direct cost of treatment as well as helping to ensure her comfort throughout her treatment. My family greatly appreciates any and all assistance, including and especially any additional resources and shared experiences.
