Sophia Ransdell, the lovely and talented 15 year old daughter of the beloved Johnny Ransdell, longtime bartender at the famous Wolski's Tavern in Milwaukee, WI and a friend to so many, Johnny and his family needs our help.

In 2023 Sophia began having seizures and began attending Children's Hospital of Wisconsin regularly for care. This summer she had SEEG brain surgery and spent four weeks hospitalized. The electrodes implanted gave doctors better data about the seizures. Sophia is facing an incredibly difficult medical journey as she has two lesions on the left side of the brain. Ablation of those lesions is scheduled for this coming November.

Sophia suffers from Functional Neurological System Disorder (FND), and this condition has affected motor skills so severely that Sophia is now in a wheelchair.

This fundraiser will help ease the financial burden of Sophia’s treatment by covering medical bills, needed equipment, and ongoing rehabilitation. Every donation, no matter the size, will go toward giving Sophia the support needed during this challenging time and helping the family avoid falling into debt while trying to help their child heal. No family should have to carry the added weight of overwhelming medical costs on top of the fear and stress that comes with a child’s health crisis.
