Sophia Rose James left this world too early on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. We know that many people are grieving this loss with our family. She will be missed by so many- so we are inviting you to join us in funding a memorial project at Sophia’s High School.

Sophia was passionate about helping people. For two years Sophia was a student aid for Debbie Williams in the special education classroom at Yamhill Carlton High School. Sophia accepted people for who they were. Sophia was also aware that so many people need help coping with the stresses of life. Debbie has shared many times with us the calming guidance Sophia brought to the students. Debbie is constantly looking for tools to help with her classroom. One tool that has been recommended to her is the placement of a bubble wall to help redirect and refocus the students. We would like to help fund the placement of a bubble wall in the special education classroom. This would serve both as a memorial to Sophia as well as tool to help the students Sophia can no longer be with.

A bubble wall is a permanent water feature that can help students relax but can also teach about viscosity, physics, and fluid Dynamics. Bubbles are amazing and beautiful- Sophia loved bubbles her whole life.
