Sophia fights SUDEP

Donation protected
Our Sophia is a warrior. She has had a genetic onset epilepsy since 2 months old. With her genetic variance of DEPDC5 and recently being told she is drug resistant, we have been researching brain surgery and other alternatives. Her seizures are considered uncontrolled and she has several every night, this in turn increases her risk of  SUDEP or Sudden Unexpected Death due to Epilepsy. You can read more here https://www.epilepsy.com/learn/early-death-and-sudep/sudep. One way to fight SUDEP is with a service animal that can be with her always and alert us if something is amiss. So we are currently training a service dog named Baku. Training a seizure alert/response dog is an involved, time consuming, and expensive process. For this reason we are asking, if you have the means, please consider donating to help Sophia fight SUDEP.  Thank you for your generosity!
