Sooki’s vet bill

Hi, my name is Sharon and I am fundraising on behalf of my beautiful 5 year old Irish Setter called Sooki.

I am a Kennel Club Assured Breeder of Irish Setters and breed pups for the love of the breed.

In September 2023 Sooki unfortunately had complications at 4 weeks with her 3rd litter and had to get a blood transfusion, pups removed and spayed, she was given medication and steroids to assist her recovery but sadly over the past few weeks her blood levels have dropped back down and she is now very close to critical again.

We have already spent £9-10k in the hope of getting Sooki back to full health but unfortunately we are now no longer in a financial position to pay for any further treatment if another blood transfusion, surgery etc is required.

We have a further blood test booked in the next few days and depending on the result she may have to return to the specialist vet for critical care.

Sooki deserves to live a long happy life, she is the most caring, loving, affectionate and annoying setter that you could wish for so any contribution towards Sooki’s wellbeing would be much appreciated.
