Sonya’s Last Gift
Sonya McPherson was beautiful, vibrant, smart, shy and silly and her sweet daughters, Jasmine and Shayna, share those same great qualities. There was NOTHING Sonya wouldn’t do for her two sequels!
In June 2020, Sonya woke up one day feeling a little unlike herself but was not too concerned. As days passed, she felt a little more discomfort but like many people do, she pushed through and carried on with her daily activities.
Within a short time, that minor discomfort became a debilitating pain for which Sonya could no longer ignore or push through. She was rushed to the hospital where she never felt the summer sun on her skin again.
Unbeknownst to Sonya, she had Stage 4 Lung Cancer. She, her family, and doctors held out hope that she may be able to push through one last time. Unfortunately, just a few short weeks after being admitted, Sonya took her last breath on Monday, July 20th, 2020.
For those who want to help monetarily and in lieu of flowers this fundraiser will serve as Sonya’s last gift to her beautiful, vibrant, smart, and sweet sequels, Jasmine and Shayna.
