Sonya Cornejo

Hi my name is Margarita. Im the mother of Sonya Cornejo, Unfortunately last night I Lost my daughter to Cancer, My daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia on Thanksgiving Day 2022 it was the worst day of my life. My daughter fought really had to beat this disease after rounds off chemo they all failed , she still had residual off cancer. On Aug 24 she started a treatment called Car Tcell therapy and one day later she was admitted to the hospital and three days later she was put on life support. Last night I had to make the hardest decision off my life I had to remove her from life support since she was declared brain dead. Im asking for you help in order to give my daughter the funeral that she needs any donation would be greatly appreciated. Despite of my daughter illness she was still able to graduate this past June from the University of Santa Barbara with a Bachelor's in sociology. Sonya had a full life ahead of her she wanted to help so many people but unfortunately Cancer did not give her that opportunity. No mother should go through this hard pain. Im asking for any donation in order for me to give my daughter the funeral she needs and deserves I would gladly appreciate it. She was a beautiful soul that touched everyone and we will never forget her and what she did for us in her 23 years here.
