Sonya Belanger Support Fund

Sonya Belanger was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in fall of 2017. The cancer has spread quickly and she is now on FMLA from work, per doctor's orders, to enjoy the rest of her time with family and friends.

While Sonya's health insurance has greatly helped cover major medical expenses during her illness, the Belanger family has still incurred many unexpected costs due to this massive life changing event.

In spite of suffering this terrible disease, Sonya has remained extremely positive and lighthearted - a true testament to her character and the selfless, loving person we all know her to be.

The love she has for her family was multiplied when she became a Memere at the beginning of this month. As soon as they were able, Sonya’s daughter flew home from Alabama.  Sonya is overjoyed at this miraculous opportunity to be able to meet her granddaughter.

With that in mind, the purpose and goal of this fund is to help make the rest of Sonya's precious time that much more comfortable and ease any remaining financial burden the Belangers have taken on.
