It’s that time of year again — and this year feels extra special. The Sony Summer Challenge is back, and 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of people coming together to move more, challenge themselves, and give back to great causes.
The challenge kicks off on 1st June and runs through to 2nd August 2026 — and this year, I’m aiming to make it my biggest challenge yet. For every kilometre I run, Sony will donate money to the World Wide Fund for Nature.
As part of the challenge, I’ve set myself a personal goal of running 500km in just 63 days. Alongside this, I also wanted to raise money for a local cause close to my heart — Folly Wildlife Rescue Trust — helping support the incredible work they do rescuing and rehabilitating wildlife in our area.
Most of my kilometres will be clocked up around Bewl Water and Wadhurst, pushing through early mornings, tired legs, and hopefully plenty of beautiful countryside along the way.
If you’d like to support me, any donation — big or small — would make a real difference. Thank you so much for helping support both local wildlife rescue and conservation efforts.
