Hello!

My name is Kolby Van Camp, and I’m the artistic director and conductor for the brand new chamber choir, Sonus. We are based out of northeast Kansas and are looking to hold our first ever concert on July 29, 2023 at 7p in the beautiful St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Kansas City.

Our first ever performance as an ensemble will be of Eric Whitacre’s “The Sacred Veil” which is an hour-long masterpiece that explores happiness, sorrow, and mortality.

To be able to pay our extraordinary collaborative musicians, sound engineer, and to use the wonderful acoustic in the sanctuary of St. Peter’s, we are going to need $1,300 to cover all our expenses. We would be humbled if you would like to donate to help our ensemble kick off on the right foot and provide a profoundly moving experience to all patrons in attendance.
