Supporting Education for the Sons of Alicia Case

Dear Family, Friends, and Kind Supporters,

My name is Derrell Clark. I am a long-time family friend of Alicia and Carey Case, and godfather to their sons, Sawyer and Oscar.

It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you today to ask for your support for Sawyer and Oscar, whose lives have been forever changed by this unfathomable loss. While Alicia’s sudden and tragic passing has had an impact on all our lives, certainly none are more profound than on the current and future lives of her children.

Alicia was an incredible mother who poured her heart and soul into nurturing Sawyer and Oscar, ensuring they had every opportunity to thrive. She held a deep passion for education and was committed to providing the best for her children. Sawyer and Oscar were her world, and she worked tirelessly to secure their future. This is most evident in their passion for reading, which they do constantly and at levels well beyond a 10- and 6-year-old.

In the wake of this devastating loss, we are rallying together to support Sawyer and Oscar's educational journeys. The funds raised will be dedicated to securing their educational needs, including tuition fees and school supplies. We aim to honor Alicia's legacy by ensuring her children have the resources they need to pursue their dreams and aspirations.

No amount is too small, and every contribution will make a significant difference in shaping Sawyer and Oscar 's future. Your generosity will provide them with stability during this challenging time and lay the groundwork for their continued growth and development.

All funds raised will be placed into a 529 Education Savings Plan that can be used to pay educational expenses from now through graduate school.
