Sonoma County Social Justice Mural Project

We are SCAPE- Sonoma County Artists Propelling Equity.  We are so grateful for all of the amazing support we have received so far. It has allowed us to complete our first mural project. See photos below. We will have an update soon on when it will be displayed for all to enjoy.  It features three local inspirational BIPOC  women. Joy Ayodele, Bernice Espinoza and Rose Hammock.

We are a grassroots collective featuring BIPOC community artists. Our goal is to create public art in Sonoma County that challenges all systems of oppression. We want to repaint imagery of community power that reveals the true beauty and innate intelligence of diversity.

Our community is crying out for social and political change. If you want to be a part of that change and would like to see social justice art in Sonoma County, please donate. The funds will be used to pay our artists for their work and for supplies needed.

We already have plans for more murals in Sonoma County and now we have a wonderful team of SCAPE volunteers who came out and  helped us paint and are eager to do more.

The work of some of our artists can be found at @fevzzz on Instagram, and at The Monarch Project website where you can also find more info on SCAPE. We hope you will join us.

We greatly appreciate your generosity in helping us take this step towards uprooting injustice in order to ensure our community is a safe and welcoming home for all BIPOC, all who are undocumented and all LGBTQI+ folks.
