Vesper Family Campaign

Donation protected
On Monday December 28th around 7pm, Santino “Sonny” Vesper was headed home from work westbound on I-74. He was driving his personal work truck and pulling a trailer. Sonny was in an accident involving a semi and thankfully the 3 people inside were unharmed...unfortunately Sonny had to be cut from his truck and rushed to Methodist Hospital in very serious condition.

Sadly, Sonny's legs had been crushed and after the first emergency five hour surgery, surgeons managed to place multiple compound breaks to his femurs, knee, tibia and fibula bones back into his body. He also sustained broken ribs, multiple cuts and burns. He is currently awaiting many more surgeries...Thank God he is alive.

Although Sonny is my brother in law, he is still very much our brother and for anyone who knows Sonny, they will tell you what a legitimate man he is. Everything he does is for his family, he loves his wife and children, he's humble, never takes handouts and works at his own business as an independent contractor for Vespira Tile and Stone. More and more of our family have pulled together to be with Sonny, our sister Emily who is a wonderful stay at home mama and their 4 children Vinny-10, Lilly- 8, Tommy- 4 and Ivy- 7 months.

And this brings me to the point of why we are here today.

If you know anything about the words “Independent Contractor” and stir in “wife and 4 young children” you automatically understand this means ...not great insurance, if any sometimes, long hours, working unpaid hours just to get the job to make the money, dead lines, missing your family... I can go on and on.

We will remain positive Sonny will one day walk again but we also know Sonny and his family have a very long road ahead of them. If you feel it in your heart to donate ANY amount....believe me nothing is too small. Emily and the kids will need the funds for medical bills, mortgage, utility bills, food, gas, building a ramp to their door and everything else life throws at them. If you can not afford to donate please help by sharing this campaign for the Vespers. Prayers, thoughts and good energy are ALWAYS welcomed, appreciated and just make everyone feel good.

On behalf of Sonny, Emily, their kids and his entire family I appreciate you taking the time to read, share, donate or pray. We will need it all!

Sincerely, Many blessings,
Meghan Medvescek
