Per Sonny and Scarletts Daddy on March 18th @ 5am:

"Calling on all faith warriors and prayer warriors that are believers in Jesus Christ. At 0309 and 0310 this morning my wife, Taneal, had to do an emergency delivery of our little boy Sonny Cassius and Scarlett Irene at the Anaheim – Orange County Kaiser Hospital. She was vacationing to visit her mom and had to go into the hospital. I flew down immediately, with the clothes on my back, and there was a lot of uncertainty of when the birth could be. Now that uncertainty is gone. I ask you believers for prayers for my wifes recovery and two babies that are in the NICU. Sonny seems to be doing well, and Scarlet needs extra help. My wife and I believe strongly in the power of prayer and we need it now. My wife is doing well and in recovery. At this point all we can do is turn to prayer and our faith. This situation is in God’s hands."

Chad and Taneal live in Portland, Oregon and will likely be spending the next several weeks up to months in Southern California while Sonny and Scarlett  gain enough strength to go home. They were born at appx 25 weeks, far too early to enter this big world. Other than a few onesies, boy/girl clothes and blankies, Chad and Taneal have not had the time to prepare for these little ones arrival. They are currently registered at Target, buybuy Baby and Babies R Us. Donations gladly accepted, as this is going to be quite the journey for the Russell Family.
