hi, i'm sonny and i am a 22 year old trans man hoping to get top surgery in the near future.

i realised i was trans in 2017 when i was 14 and as soon as i was able to get a binder through a friend in 2018, i have been binding almost every day. this has not been great for my health as i am asthmatic and have other chronic pain issues but i do so anyways because of the dysphoria my chest causes me. i have been wanting top surgery pretty much for as long as i knew it was an option, but because of the cost it has felt like an impossible goal. i am desperate to get top surgery to alleviate my dysphoria and help me feel more comfortable in my body. being able to wear tshirts without layering up or needing them oversized or being able to play football without binding would be life changing to me, as it feels increasingly unendurable to keep living with my chest dysphoria impacting so much of my life.

i have been out as trans publically for about 6 years and started tesosterone in august 2025, after saving up to go private because of the long wait list. while testosterone has helped increase my confidence and reduce some of the dysphoria i had before, top surgery would be life-changing for me in relieving my chest dysphoria.

with the long NHS waiting list and UK top surgeons fees being around £9k+ i am choosing to have my top surgery abroad which is around £6-7k, alongside travel fees. while i am also trying to save up myself, this would only be able to cover the travel and accomodation at best so i am asking for help in raising the cost of the surgery. any donation is so very appreciated and if you aren't in the position to donate as times are tough right now, please consider sharing the link if you are able.
