Our beautiful boy Sonny would be turning 4 on the 6th of August.

Four years on, and not a day goes by that we don’t think of him.


We didn’t just lose a baby—we lost a future with our son, he should have been at Kinder, finding out what sport he loved and making little mates, it breaks our hearts he never got the chance to make these memories.

Though our time with Sonny was heartbreakingly short, we will forever be grateful for the precious moments we had—and for the priceless photographs captured by the incredible charity, Heartfelt.

Heartfelt is a volunteer organisation of professional photographers who gift families like ours the irreplaceable treasure of photographic memories. They offer their services completely free of charge—coming to hospitals, often at all hours, to gently and lovingly capture time with your baby, providing both digital and printed images to hold onto forever.

This gift meant the world to us.
As we honour Sonny’s 4th birthday, we’ve chosen to raise funds for Heartfelt, so other families facing unimaginable loss can receive the same comfort we did.
