Our beloved Sonny "Bunz" Davis has traveled off to a faraway land on June 22nd, 2021.
Sonny is off to be with his soulmate Kathleen Davis who has been waiting for him in the faraway land since October 27th, 2020.
Sonny is survived by his two sons, Michael Davis and Davey Davis, ten grandchildren and seven great grand children.
Born in 1941 at Katimiin to Madeline Davis and Shan Davis, he was the second oldest of five children. Sonny is the last of his generation and the last of the old people. He is full blood Karuk and a fluent traditional speaker.
We humbly ask you for financial support to help cover final expenses. The expenses are totaling upwards of $8000. We are very thankful for the financial assistance the Karuk Tribe has already provided for the extensive funeral costs.
