Fire survivors - Sonja & Family

Our friend and faithful RAC instructor, Sonja, has endured much hardship this year, and now a fire has left she and her family without a house, with limited clothing, and personal belongings. Maybe we all can assist them to rebuild their lives by making a small donation. This text is humbly borrowed from Sonja's FaceBook: "Friends and family: we will likely not broadcast a lot, but we did suffer a significant kitchen fire last night. Ben and Noah bravely re-entered the house to try and extinguish the fire and luckily saved the main structure before flames would have blown through the ceiling. As of 11pm last night, the external structure and garage are ok, but our kitchen is ruined, flooring throughout the entire House is ruined, and we are bracing to be told we will lose all clothing, furniture, etc because the smoke damage is extensive and the toxins from extinguishers covered the ventilation system. Today we will return to meet with restoration services and know the future. Meanwhile, we have been asked to evacuate for a few weeks. Thanks for your concerns. We are devastated and overwhelmed, but it is just a house. Houses can be rebuilt."
