Sonia Rivas

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Tatiana Demus (Sonia Rivas' daughter.) Know as Tati to her love ones, she was a vibrant young lady who had just turned 15 years old. Tati was a fighter who battled cancer for more than half of her life and recently went to be with the Lord. Tati was love by all who came to know her and she leaves behind her loving parents, a sister, two brothers, and many other family and friends who loves and miss her dearly. As her family deal with her loss and the immense grief, they now also face the financial weight of the funeral expenses. We ask that you please donate, if able, to support her family during this difficult time. Funds raised will be given to her family to assist with funeral arrangements and medical/other expenses incurred from end of life care. Tati's mom, Sonia has been selflessly taking care of her since her diagnosis. When Tati transitioned to home hospice, Sonia did everything to be with her daughter during her final moments. She has been on leave since May. While she was able to spend time with Tati and the family during the end of life care, the family is now faced with overwhelming financial responsibility. The funds collected will help alleviate some of the financial burden so that their family can grieve beloved Tati peacefully.
