We’re Janice & Sam requesting financial help for our longtime friend, Kelly A. Johnson, retired restaurant manager, songwriter and singer who was rear-ended 8/6/23 by an uninsured driver. Fortunately, her injuries were somewhat minor at the time where she was treated in the ER. Her car was not as fortunate since her insurance totaled it. Her only car was her only means of transportation to everywhere but especially to her part-time job and to continue being under the care of her doctors. Kelly resides solo with her dog since the recent passing of her spouse of 35-yrs. Sadly, not long afterwards she lost a beloved nephew to suicide. 

Having transportation is essential residing in a rural area where there isn’t Uber, Lyft, shuttles or buses. Without a vehicle she’s unable to go to her medical followup with her injuries, receive PT or get discharged to work. She’s behind paying the bills since the accident and needs additional medical treatments of her injuries - her right eye, right ear and lower back. 

Fortunately, her thoughtful neighbors have driven her to the doctor, repeatedly cut her grass, then 

brought both her and her dog groceries.
