Ulithian Vibes Goes Global: Songs of the Sea, Sounds of Resilience
Support Their First-Ever Live Performance at Borderlands Festival
Hello! My name is Kelsey C. Doyle, and I’m the Media Director with One People One Reef, a community-led conservation nonprofit partnering with Indigenous leaders from Ulithi Atoll in the Federated States of Micronesia.
We need your help to send the band Ulithian Vibes to Borderlands Festival in Upstate New York—their first-ever public performance on a global stage!
Who Are Ulithian Vibes?
Ulithian Vibes is a groundbreaking musical group blending traditional chants with reggae, soul, and island beats to amplify climate action and cultural pride. Their debut album—supported by the National Geographic Society—celebrates Ulithian language, identity, and ocean stewardship through powerful, contemporary music.
Why This Matters
This performance isn’t just about music—it’s a chance for Pacific Island youth to share their message of resilience, heritage, and environmental justice with the world. It’s a call to action rooted in rhythm, language, and love for the ocean.
We are raising $10,000 to cover:
Flights, visas, and lodging
Food and ground transportation
Performance prep and materials
Every donation helps bring their voices to the global stage.
Help us let the island sing.
One people. One reef. One love.
