Sommer’s Cancer Journey

Whoever knows my best friend Sommer can’t deny the fact that she is a kick ass single mother living for her daughters. She has managed life on her own with no ones help for over a decade! SHE DESPERATELY NEEDS US NOW!!!

Recently, as many of you have heard by now, her life was turned upside down when (with no other symptoms other than a swollen lymph node) she discovered that she is suffering from stage 3-B melanoma. As if advanced cancer itself isn’t terrifying, now she is gearing up for an Inguinal lymphadenectomy surgery on Monday, Jan. 18th. The surgery is extremely extensive, removing lymph nodes and surrounding tissue in her groin area, and it will have her home on bed rest for 3-4 weeks recovering. 

This is where the problem comes in. Bed rest for that long means that she will be out of work for that long. Having no other form of income to depend on puts her in a terrible position. 

I know that 2020 has been extremely hard on everyone financially. But if you have anything to spare today to help ease her burden, I kindly ask you to donate it to this cause. Every dollar counts!
