Hey friends and family,

I'm reaching out because I'm going through a tough time. I am not one who is comfortable asking for help. Those who know me will attest to that.

I recently had to go on medical leave due to a second hip replacement surgery scheduled for September 8th, and unfortunately, my work contract was canceled in May due to being on an approved week's leave of absence and my inability to do the stairs.

My unemployment benefits won't kick in until September/October, and I'm struggling to make ends meet.
