I'm currently a master's student at the University of West England in partnership with the BBC Natural History Unit.
I'm seeking support to help cover the final stages of my masters film: editing, sound design, color grading, and festival submissions. Every contribution helps bring this story to life and reach an audience. Thanks for helping me cross the finish line!
For a DJ, keeping up with the latest trends is par for the course, but DJ Brian d’Souza, is forging his own path. During the pandemic, his music career stalled and he struggled with eco-anxiety and personal loss. Brian turned to the world around him for inspiration. Under his stage name, Auntie Flo, he learned to create innovative soundscapes from the subtle vibrations of living plants and mushrooms His musical exploration highlights the living ecosystem that exists all around us, urging us to see nature as living collaborator in the symphony of existence. Beyond the stage, his music promotes mental healing and environmental conservation, encouraging listeners to engage with nature in a new way. By collaborating with the natural world, Brian reshapes how we interact with the environment, giving Mother Earth a voice in the symphony of life and inviting us to listen to what’s hidden in plain sight.
