This is our mom Gail. She is 65 years young and a mother of 4. Grandmother of 7. She raised all of us completely on her own while working as a hairstylist. She worked harder than anyone I know building her business that she still owns almost 20 years later. In 2020 we were all hit hard with COVID and financially pushed to the brink. My mom could have closed the doors and told her employees "sorry but we can't do it anymore," but she didn't! She made sure each and every one of them were able to support THEIR families, even though it meant reaching into her own nest egg. Unfortunately, 6 months later she was diagnosed with leukemia. This has turned all of our worlds upside down, for she has always been our rock. We have all seen her go from the upbeat hard working woman who couldn't sit still for more than 5 minutes to tired, hurting and mentally exhausted. She was just informed Monday that her chemo isn't working effectively and was told it's urgent for her to go to the Moffitt Center in Tampa to aggressively battle and God willing beat this nasty disease, which means months of no work and no income. Due to COVID, and the last 6 months of limited work her finances are dwindling and we are all trying to keep her above water. As her son, all I want to do is take this from her body, but it doesn't work that way. Instead, I will do everything in my power to ease the fear she has of losing everything she's worked almost 50 years building. I come to each and every one of you on my knees asking for ANYTHING you can help with. Understanding everyone is/ was faced with these financial hardships I ask you to please share if you can't donate. If there's anyone on this earth that deserves some good it's her! My family and I thank all of you for the donations or shares in advance. I will also keep everyone updated to her progress! ❤❤❤❤
