Hi, I am Tamara Yergensen and I am fundraising for Dale and Wendy Bronson. Wendy and I go back to the second grade. Many of you from Glendale know Wendy from Columbus, Toll and Hoover or Grace Chapel in Lancaster (Dale and Wendy attended and served there for many years). Both Dale and Wendy have always been there to lend a hand, an ear, a meal, or money for so many. (I am one of those people). Dale has abdominal aneurysm. Doctors in Illinois will not be able to operate on this. They must go to Missouri to have a specialist do this The specialists will need to see if Dale is strong enough to make it through major surgery. Once they get the go ahead, the specialists will not be able to do the "easy fix" by going in through the femoral artery, as they had originally hoped. They have to open him up and rebuild the area affected by the aneurysm and put in a stent. This will mean 1 week in the hospital in Missouri. Then a month recovery at home.

Gas money is needed to help them get to and from Illinois to Missouri for two round trips. They have an initial "in person" meeting with the specialist and then the trip to/from for the surgery. This will also mean staying at an Air BnB for at least a week. Meals/groceries during that time will be needed. To make matters a little more stressful, Wendy has Covid right now and will be missing 7 paid days from work just from Covid because the mandatory Covid pay ended in September. She will also be missing at least another week when Dale has the surgery. These are just the expenses that we are aware of now. LOTS of help is needed here.

I know times are tough for all of us, but my dear friends have their backs up against the wall. Whatever you can contribute matters. Prayers needed - as our God can do awesome things.
