Somebody's Daughter, Counter Trafficking Film
We're creating a made-for-digital-release film of our stage show Somebody's Daughter! Infusion Physical Theatre's counter-trafficking show told through dance, physicality, mime and original music, is coming from the stage to the screen.
Despite covid-19, human trafficking and modern slavery continues to grow...
...we want to make a film version of our show that can be packaged for online release to help fight trafficking and modern slavery. Ticket sales from these live events will directly benefit charities working to combat slavery around the world. We already have several partners lined up waiting to work with us, we just need your help to get us there!
About us: we are Infusion Physical Theatre
Current charity partners include...
Cambridge Centre of Applied Research in Human Trafficking (CCARHT)

Nordic Model Now!
Hope for Justice
In addition, we hope to submit the film to various digital arts festivals (including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where we were meant to tour last year before the pandemic shut down this iconic event)...
This project will create work for 10 creatives who have be affected by lockdowns, theatre closures, and other cancellations that have significantly impacted their work and livelihood.
What is the show:
Somebody's Daughter is a live stage performance depicting the life of a trafficked woman from birth into a loving home, and beginning of life full of potential--to the coercive control of a Lover Boy trafficker trapping her in a life of exploitation, online and in person, from which there seems no way out. Its a bone-jarring tour de force of acrobatic physical theatre, dance and shadow movement, asking intriguing questions about the culprits behind exploitation, and the value of a human being.

... web platforms for online distribution
