Hello, my name is Mukisa. I’m a Ugandan multidisciplinary artist based in Berlin, working as a producer, singer-songwriter, rapper, choreographer, and bassist. My work centers around the genres and subcultures of Amapiano and Afro-fusion.

I’m currently developing my debut solo project, “SOMEONE LIVES HERE” a multidisciplinary exploration of the relationship one has with their body as an African diasporic person. This work reflects on how community can shape and transform our perception of self. Through song, rhythm, and movement, I hope to help people reconnect with their bodies and feel more at home within them.

Right now, I’m raising funds to support the talented team who helped bring this vision to life, and to host community screenings where the project can be experienced and shared collectively.
