Hope and help for Karlina Muik

Hi I’m Meghan and I am wanting to relieve some of Karlinas stress in this worrisome time. Karlina is 21 years old and has been apart of our family for the past 6 years. Her and my nephew Ty are high school sweethearts. Karlina has been diagnosed with stage 4 alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. Karlina has a long road ahead of her and my goal is to make it as smooth as possible. The plan is 9 months of treatment with five types of chemo, radiation and possibly surgery. All starting in two weeks. The treatment is aggressive due to the aggressiveness of the disease.

Ty and Karlina are concerned, due to the chemo she may not be able to have children down the road so they want to be prepared. The fertility clinic has given an estimate and it’s not cheap. I hope that if the procedure can be done, with money not being a stress it will give her something to be excited and hopeful for.

I am hoping to raise enough that she can also have money for everyday life expenses while she is going through treatment so she can focus on getting better. Karlina lives in Armstrong and will be getting treated in Kelowna and Vancouver so there will be lots of travelling back and forth.

Karlina is one of the most caring, and hardworking people I know, she is more then deserving of a little help❤️
