Hey! Thanks for taking the time to click the link.
Let me begin by stating that I am making this without Eric's knowledge. He is not the kind to ask anything of anyone. He's usually the one helping others out, in fact.
With that said, here's the situation...
If you know Eric, you know he works in film production, and that he works damn hard. Eric very recently took the plunge and purchased a camera and equipment worth $2,500 from his friend at a discounted amount of $1500. This camera has been in his possession for maybe a month or so and he's really been enjoying working with it and has already gotten a ton of use out of it. He was even supposed to be shooting another music video this weekend... I say WAS because (as the title suggests) some jerkwad went into his grandparent's office where he has been working from home and let themselves into his camera bag. The jerk took Eric's camera, lenses and ND filter. Jerkwad was kind enough to leave the camera batteries, at least, and the bag. We'll give the jerk that. What a nice jerk!
Eric discovered someone had helped themselves to his stuff last night when he went to grab his camera to shoot some extra footage to meet a deadline for the last shoot he did. To top it all off he's just returned from a trip to see his grandmother who is currently in very poor health. I guess that's how it goes sometimes...and I know everyone has their struggles and it's not easy out there in the world for most of us. Especially these days with the state of things in the world.
Bottomline - Eric is one of the most hardworking, considerate people I know and the first to help anyone out who needs it. It would be great to somehow help him recover his losses if possible. I figure it can't hurt to try. Do what you can if you can. Well wishes to you all and thanks again for taking the time to read this.
