Some help with medical expenses

This is probably the hardest thing I've had to do, ask for help.

My name is Barry Adams; I am married to my high school sweetheart and have the best two children we could ask for.

I've recently undergone two back surgeries with a hospital admission.

I have been off work for more than the normal 12-week FMLA.

My extended leave has not been approved so I have been without pay for the past several months, forcing me to tap into savings and credit to pay for unforeseen additional costs and non-insurance-covered portions of my medical expenses.

I return to work soon but could use a bit of financial help.

I have spent my entire adult life giving of myself to others in public service.

While I am embarrassed to ask for help, I find myself in a position to have to do so.
