Hi, I am Arpan Gurung, and I am raising funds to help cover the cost of repatriating the body of late Som Thing Tamang for his final spiritual rites in Nepal.

It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of Som Thing Tamang (35 years old) on 18 June 2025, due to a suspected heart attack. Som was a humble, hardworking individual who worked and lived in Folkestone and was the main financial support for his family in Pokhara, Nepal.

His family has requested for his body to be returned to Nepal for traditional funeral rites. As he had no close relatives in the UK and comes from a financially struggling background, I am kindly asking for voluntary donations to help cover repatriation and funeral expenses
