Solyn Family and nyloS restaurant Recovery

In 2016 Paulina and I took a second mortgage on our home to open our dream restaurant, nyloS. We did this all while expecting our fourth child who was born on Valentine's Day exactly 2 weeks after we opened. We struggled incredibly during those first couple of years while operating nyloS. And when we finally started to do well, Covid struck us all. Through a ton of flexibility, hard work, the grace of god, and tremendous local support we were able to make it through Covid and thrive.

On August 8th our property was destroyed by the Lahaina brush fires. Paulina and I are raising our 3 daughters and beautiful autistic son while operating nyloS restaurant.

Now, nyloS, is at risk due to the fallout from the brush fires and the economic/financial catastrophe going on throughout the island.

nyloS has lost virtually all of its August reservations and 90% of its September reservations with a very uncertain future in October and beyond. Please donate whatever you are able. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts and we are praying for everyone who has been affected by this horrific tragedy. We are especially saddened; destroyed really; by the overwhelming amount of injuries and loss of life in our tiny, close-knit community. Lahaina will rise again stronger and more beautiful than ever!!!
