A fire, started in an adjacent apartment, has left my sister’s family effectively homeless. Displaced and bereft of nearly all their belongings, my sister and her two children need help.
Because they had no insurance, this is truly a total loss, leaving them displaced as well as dispossessed.
It’s difficult to solicit aid, never having had a need so great in the past… but, this situation demands the kind of assistance only “many” can provide.
This fundraiser is intended to raise funds for their immediate relief, the difficult transition period ahead, and to provide a vehicle for their recovery.
Any help is welcome, including donations of time, services, and goods.
