On September 8th, 2020 our loving mom Sol was diagnosed with breast cancer.   She is currently a patient at Novant Health in Winston-Salem, NC. As a result of the kind of cancer she has, she will have to undergo surgery on October 6th to remove the tumor followed by radiation therapy. 

Unfortunately, she is not able to afford private health insurance nor qualifies to obtain Medicaid. So far she has paid out of pocket for her mammograms, doctor’s appointments and biopsies.

My mother has been known to be the life of the party everywhere she has stepped a foot in. She has always been up to help anyone and extended her hand for any cause . We feel this is the time to give her back for all the great times she has given us.

My brother Jonathan & I started this GoFundMe because all the wonderful people in our mother’s life have asked how they can help, and for this we can never adequately express our gratitude. As her children, we feel powerless and hopeless saying this, but the treatment to save our mom’s life has a cost we can't afford on our own. 

Thank you all for reading all this. I know with everything going on right now this just seems like one more bad thing, but we have faith that she will win this battle like the fighther she is.
