Our grandfather has tragically passed away due to COVID-19. He and our grandmother had lived in Mexico all of their lives and were happily married for 54 years. Both of our grandparents got COVID and had to be placed in the hospital. Our grandmother currently suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure, she is still in an unstable situation. Our grandfather passed away very recently. Since they live in Mexico, it was more difficult for them to receive effective treatment. By the time they found out our grandfather had the illness, his lungs were completely destroyed and was told he would only be able to live a few more days. My father and his siblings were by his side until the very end. We are hoping to raise money in order to cover the medical expenses of our late grandfather and grandmother, who is still receiving treatment. Other members including our uncles and aunts, who were around our grandparents at the time to take care of them, have also been infected and are in worrying conditions. The medical expenses are high in Mexico right now, and with a majority of the family needing to be in the hospital, we are in need for any type of support. Any donations would be very much appreciated.
