Solidarity Fundraiser for Lebanon

Since Israel's attacks began, the people of Lebanon have been forced to endure unimaginable horrors, as attacks continue to devastate their communities and homeland. The scale of displacement is equally shocking – over a million people have been forced to flee their homes in search of safety, while hundreds of thousands continue to live in critical conditions. Meanwhile, Western support for Israel's genocide continues, even though the lives lost and destruction caused exceed the comprehensible.

Today, we're reaching out across radio waves to raise funds for two vital grassroots organisations based in Lebanon: Beirut Synthesizer Centre and Nation Station. In the midst of Israeli aggression and mass displacement, these community-led groups have become lifelines for the displaced people in Lebanon, providing both immediate relief and long-term support through daily meals and essential supplies.

Nation Station emerged from the aftermath of the devastating Beirut port explosion in August 2020, and has since proven itself an indispensable force for community support. Since September 23rd, their dedicated network of volunteers has mobilised to provide aid to displaced families and vulnerable communities across Lebanon.

The Beirut Synthesizer Centre, a DIY community hub, has transformed itself into a critical crisis centre. They've adapted their facilities to collect and distribute emergency aid, working closely with local schools that now serve as shelters for those displaced from South Lebanon.

We are dedicating this day to raise money for these two organisations. Your support will directly enable them to continue their work. All funds raised will be split between the two organisations; every donation, regardless of size, helps provide immediate relief to families who have lost everything.
