HELP to UKRAINE

Dear RE/MAX family,

While signing the master franchise agreement eight years ago, there was an orange revolution in Kyiv, and many patriotic citizens lost their lives. Most people may have missed or forgotten about this event. Today, however, history repeats itself, and this time it is on a scale that no one will forget.

At the end of the second day of the attacks, which started on Thursday last week and were not as intense as today, we, as RE/MAX Ukraine regional managers, were included in the first evacuation group organized by the Turkish Embassy Kyiv. As a result of a risky and long journey, we could come to Turkey after three days.

Fortunately, we haven't heard bad news from our colleagues and their families so far, but most of them are stuck where they are and under heavy attack, especially around Kyiv.

Colleagues, the situation is more serious than it seems. As people who came from the region of fire and witnessed what happened, we must say very clearly that this is not a military operation as Russia says. This is officially a war. The Russians are killing everyone, regardless of whether they are soldiers, children, or women. The picture is obvious, and the people of Ukraine will experience great difficulties until this atrocity is stopped.

According to the information we received from Ukraine, humanitarian aid shipments from countries have started to reach their destination, and their size is increasing day by day.

As RE/MAX Ukraine management, we started working to collect financial aid and support humanitarian aid organizations as soon as we returned to Turkey.

As the leaders and managers of a company that knows people very well and values people, namely the big RE/MAX family, we know that you are watching Ukraine closely and are very sad and praying for the Ukrainian people.

And now we are sure that you will support a step beyond that.

We thank you on behalf Ukrainian people and the RE/MAX affiliates in advance.

We want to share our general thoughts on the use of the fund we initiated for RE/MAX Ukraine. 

1. Meeting the accommodation and food needs of the remaining RE/MAX brokers and sales consultants and their families in case of need. 
2. Supporting the temporary accommodation and food needs of RE/MAX refugees in other countries if requested.
3. Contribution to the necessary vehicle, fuel, or transfer fees in case of evacuation of RE/MAX affiliates
4. Supporting the purchase of diapers, baby food, and cleaning materials for the  RE/MAX families with children who stayed in Ukraine. (Most required)
5. Temporary minimum payment support to key central office employees in need.
6. Support for restructuring to Brokers who are left in the war situation and want to continue with RE/MAX. 
7. Apart from these, making decisions in cases of urgency and using the fund as necessary.
