El programa de Becas en Ecuador cuenta actualmente con 9295 becarios. El 20% de ellos vienen de familias en condiciones de pobreza y 17% vienen de familias en condiciones de extrema pobreza. Más de la mitad de los estudiantes no han recibido el pago de sus becas por parte del Gobierno desde hace meses o años.
Como resultado muchos de ellos hoy se encuentran en graves condiciones de vulnerabilidad económica.
Por otro lado, no pueden trabajar por los horarios de las lecciones que deben atender y por la falta de empleo fruto de la crisis económica generada por la pandemia, además de que abandonar sus estudios comportaría una fuerte multa.
Las Juventudes de la Revolución Ciudadana en Europa y la Organización “Becarios Organizados” estamos activamente luchando para el desembolso de las becas, pero la urgencia nos obliga a tomar acciones inmediatas para aleviar de cualquier manera situaciones de extrema necesidad entre los becarios.
Ayúdenos a que no se destruya el futuro de nuestro Ecuador.
El fondo atenderá a 31 estudiantes becarios en extremas necesidades económicas indicados por la Organización “Becarios Organizados”. 30 en Ecuador y 1 en Alemania
La cuenta bancaria utilizada para captar el dinero de los donadores es de la Cooperativa Social “Insieme” con sede en Milán. De ahí el dinero será repartido en partes iguales y enviado a los estudiantes.

The Ecuadorian scholarship program, in 2020, counts 9295 registered students. Of those, 20% are from situation of poverty and 17% are from situations of extreme poverty. More than half of them have not received their payments for months, some for years. The Government has abandoned them.
Many of them are now facing serious economic problems, and unable to pay their food, rent, internet, University fees and even medicines.
The students are left with no choice: giving up their studies to work would trigger economic sanctions and there is a huge scarcity of jobs due to the economic crisis caused by the pandemic.
We, the Juveniles of the Revolucion Ciudadana in Europe, together with the Ecuadorian student Organization “Becarios Organizados” are actively fighting to give relevance to the issue and obtain the payments of the scholarships from the Government, but the urgency of certain economic situations are pushing us to ask for help.
Please, let’s help the future of our Country!
The fund will help 31 students with extreme economic need. 30 of them are in Ecuador and 1 in Germany, all of whom were chosen by the Organization “Becarios Organizados”. The total share will be split equally amongst them all, and we will post their stories in our page.
The Bank account used to collect the money is located in Milan and owned by the ONG “Insieme”, which our movement has previously work with during the COVID crisis in Guayaquil.
