Hello!  

My name is Soleil Moon Wright and I am a junior at Professional Performing Arts  high school.

I applied and was accepted to travel the Riobamba, Ecuador for 2 weeks for the upcoming summer 2017 as part of the Global Glimpse Leadership program! 

Global Glimpse is an amazing program and I am very excited to join them.   

I believe the program will definitely help me develop a better under-standing of the challenges faced by students my age and appreciate the things I may take for granted living in North America.  I think that studying the developing world and the environmental issues by being there, will be a great way for me to grow, learn and connect with ideas that have only existed in the classroom. I also hope to get a better understanding of myself and how I handle change and being away from what is familiar. 

In order to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity, I need to raise $4400 over the next four months to cover the costs of this amazing educational trip.
